Those are called Enhancers and they only really work on light colored eyes. Darker eyes tend to not show up at all.
Hard contact lenses (also known as Gas Permeable lenses) are good for around a year, which in the state of Missouri is how long a contact lens prescription lasts.

It felt perfectly fine. I didn’t even feel it. I was so happy to get it in. It took me 10 minutes to get it in each eye and now I could do it in less than a minute.

My mother used “permanent” lenses (or known as hard lenses) for many many years. I think they last up to 10 years per pair (although she usually lost them well before that limit).
contact lenses are bought in a bulk of supply, most contain a supply for 3 months and then must be renewed. There is no such thing as permanent lenses
It’s been proven that tinted contact lenses are hazardous and may cause blindness. In 2003, the FDA issued a report stating that colored contacts and the faux pigment on them may cause blindness. Google it. Yes i know, the truth is inconvenient and many people will ignore it. Remember, it’s your choice.
hey, i dont like the colour of my eyes people say there misrible, so i wanna get some green contacts, but my eye site is perfect, will this effect it? also can u not get perminant lenses? or do you have to keep changing them?

well… yeah it depends on how they are.
i got the regular clear contacts and they last(well safe to have in your eye) for about 30 days(a month) but i think the colored ones are less time.
if you keep them in your eye for more then the recommended time it could affect your eyes.
