Lasik is a high risk surgery with many complications, why would anyone get it?

You can Google for websites of people who share their experience, many of them are negative. Lasik doesn’t give vision as good as glasses but costs $4000+ and is high risk. Why get lasik now and not wait for better technology?

    Because lasik isn’t high risk and can costs as low as $499 per eye.

    Lasik is only high risk in the hands of an unexperienced surgeon. Look at the total number of cases versus the relatively small number of bad outcomes.

    $4000? That’s high. It’s not cheap, but you can find an excellent surgeon to work on both eyes for a lot left.

    Its low risk, very low risk…

    Further, 4000 will get you an EXCELLENT doctor who will make the risk even smaller.
