Every school in the country offers the courses you need to get into optometry school. Find the cheapest one.
Almost every college will have the courses that you need to fulfill the pre-optometry requirements (also known as pre-reqs for optometry school). There are only 17 optometry schools in the country and is competitive to get into one. There is only one school in Ohio and it’s Ohio State. If you are a resident in ohio, I would suggest attending ohio state for undergrad and find out if there are programs that guarantee you a seat in optometry school. And if you are a resident, state schools usually have lower requirements for their residents and/or they have a certain amount of the incoming class reserved for in-state students.I hope that this has helped.
