If 10,000,000 Americans have had LASIk and the FDA says there is a 5% dissatisfaction rate, that equates to 500,000 Americans being hurt. A much higher number than the 142 currently being reported. If you look at percentages, many people come out completely happy with the surgery. Yes there is risks, and that is understandable. But by agreeing to undergo the surgery you are accepting those risks because they out weigh the benefits. Plenty of people come out completely happy after having the surgery. and for most cases which makes up for almost 90% of the ***** up, your going to need glasses for the rest of your life. So does a good portion of America.

No, incorrect again. Please do your homework. The success rates are skewed. The FDA outsourced the clincal studies to profit motivated device manufacturers. If you study the FDA Panel and listen the the attorneys, the doctors, the PHD’s who have done the research, you will discover that everyone, including both you and I, have been “duped.” We were all sold a bunch of 95.4% success rate BS! Plenty of people are looking for cheap easy Lasik surgery. What your looking for is not a great deal but an experienced doctor who has a high successes rate. If your not willing to put in the time to find a qualified doctor (and yes they exist) then yes your success rate will be 65%. Its the poor doctors that skew the percentages.

Every LASIK dr has patients with Dry Eye Syndrome, putting drops in every second of the day and seeing “halos/starbursts/contrast issues” at night. Are you aware that the FDA is being investigated as LASIK centers soon will be as well, for NOT reporting patient adverse outcomes? This could possibly start a Class Action Lawsuit across the board. If you are a LASIK doctor, you should have been reporting ANY adverse patient period. If you have not been, time will tell what happens…

I guess you aren’t familar in trying to sue a Lying LASIK Doctor after having signed their Informed Consent Form. Why don’t you educate yourself by Youtube searching: FDA LASIK, CRSQA LASIK. They LIE to cover for each other and won’t testify against each other because for the most part, they all have lawsuits ongoing…they are all corrupt! I guess it is a conspiracy…you are right.

But, what if, a patient takes the LAW into their own hands, now ruined and suicidal feeling there is nothing to live for? Doesn’t this create an “x” factor for the Lying LASIK Doctors to think about? Does safety now come before money for once? Only time will tell. Basically, the Lying LASIK Doctors have lied in order to save a lawsuit, while pushing the patient past the Statute of Limitations to sue them which is about 2 years usually, all while ruining his patient’s eyesight and life.
