I had LASEK on a Friday. The Saturday was ok in terms of pain. Sunday was the worst…very red eyes, irritated, painful. Had to use the pain meds I received. By the Monday morning it was gone, and was continual improvement from there. Had the contacts removed on the Wednesday. Two months out and I’m better than 20/20. Very pleased with everything.

    PRK IS PAINFREE!?
    are you kidding me!

I done a PRK 4 days ago and I am just STARTING to get better

painfree is a completely false, even when taking correctly all the medications (just as I did)

However, I still don’t regret my surgery.. but it’s not painfree at all, trust me ;)

I can’t wear contact lenses, otherwise I would just get contacts.
