Can you wear colored contacts after getting Lasik?

I had Lasik done 2 1/2 years ago – I’d like to wear colored contacts for Halloween. Will I risk tearing my flap?

Prior to Lasik I was a contact user for 15 years, so I feel confident I can insert and remove the contact as carefully as possible.

I had Lasik 8 years ago and have worn contacts since then. They were uncomfortable for me, but I had other corneal issues going on. I know a lot of people who have been able to wear contacts after Lasik – just have to find a brand that is comfortable for you!

    Good Luck!
