GENERAL
Occurs in patients over 60 years of age and it is slightly more common in women. Blindness may occur.

VISION... gradual loss, veiled vision, severe vision loss (30-50%), blindness
LIDS... ptosis
IRIS... miosis
EOM... NIII or NVI palsy, diplopia
SCLERA... nodular scleritis
RETINA... edema, arterial narrowing, venus fragmentation, central retinal artery occlusion, cotton-wool spots
OPTIC... anterior ischemic optic atrophy, edema, secondary atrophy, disc swollen and pale with small hemorrhages
FIELDS... sector defect
